Mission Vision is more than a mission statement. It is more
significant, more powerful and more relevant. Mission Vision is
very similar to mission statement, but it encompasses more of the big
picture and an as it relates to a visionary perspective. It is also a
creative way to improve on the common and less enthusiastic term
"mission statement". When you think of the verb 'equip', resources
and tools for evangelistic and discipleship may come to mind. The New
Testament urges pastors and leaders to equip believers in Christ to
follow Him. A leader cannot make that decision for someone, but they
can point them in the right direction to gain the knowledge, resources
and advantages to do better what they are called to do.
To equip a generation with relevant scripture songs means to give
young people the opportunity to access a very effective resource in a
simple way. For many this will mean obtaining the scripture songs in
either a very inexpensive way or a free format over the Internet.
Recipients of this resource will then be encouraged to pass this
opportunity onto others. |
