TotalBibleWorkout.com      Courageous And Bold - C.A.B.

Romans 1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God
(for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.)

Romans 15:15 I have written you quite boldly on some points, as if to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me
2 Corinthians 3:12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
2 Timothy 1:7  ‘For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

Philemon 1:8 Therefore, although in Christ I could be bold and order you to do what you ought to do,
2 Peter 2:10 This is especially true of those who follow the corrupt desire of the sinful nature [Or the flesh]
and despise authority. Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings;

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."  Deuteronomy 31:7 … "Be strong and courageous, for you must go with this people into the land that the Lord swore to their forefathers to give them, and you must divide it among them as their inheritance.  Deuteronomy 31:23 The Lord gave this command to Joshua son of Nun: "Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I promised them on oath, and I myself will be with you."

Joshua 1:6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. Joshua 1:7 Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:18 Whoever rebels against your word and does not obey your words, whatever you may command them, will be put to death. Only be strong and courageous!" Joshua 10:25 Joshua said to them, "Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the Lord will do to all the enemies you are going to fight."

1 Chronicles 22:13 Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the Lord gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. 1 Chronicles 28:20 David also said to Solomon his son, "Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He will not fail you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the temple of the Lord is finished. 2 Chronicles 25:8 Even if you go and fight courageously in battle, God will overthrow you before the enemy, for God has the power to help or to overthrow."  2 Chronicles 32:7 "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged because of the king of Assyria and the vast army with him, for there is a greater power with us than with him. Philippians 1:14 Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly.

Matthew 14:27  & Mark 6:50 But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid."

2 Corinthians 3 1   Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you? 2   You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everybody. 3   You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts. 4   Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. 5   Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. 6   He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life. 7   Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, fading though it was, 8   will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious? 9   If the ministry that condemns men is glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness! 10   For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory. 11   And if what was fading away came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts! 12   Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold. 13   We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to keep the Israelites from gazing at it while the radiance was fading away. 14   But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away. 15   Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts. 16   But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17   Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18   And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord's glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Psalm 138:3 When I called, you answered me; you made me bold and stouthearted.  Proverbs 21:29 A wicked man puts up a bold front, but an upright man gives thought to his ways.  Proverbs 28:1 The wicked man flees though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion.

Mark 15:43 Joseph of Arimathea…went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus' body.
Luke 11:8 I tell you, though he will not get up and give him the bread because he is his friend,
yet because of the man's boldness [Or persistence] he will get up and give him as much as he needs.

Acts1:8  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 4:29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. Acts 4:31 After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly. Acts 9:28 So Saul stayed with them and moved about freely in Jerusalem, speaking boldly in the name of the Lord.  Acts 13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.  Acts 14:3 So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to do miraculous signs and wonders.  Acts 18:26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately. Acts 19:8 Paul entered the synagogue and spoke boldly there for three months, arguing persuasively about the kingdom of God.  Acts 28:31 Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.   all verses (NIV) - © TotalBibleWorkout.com
