Since we have these promises, dear friends,
let us ourselves from everything that
contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness
out of reverence for God.


Keep my commands and you will live;
guard my teachings as the apple of your eye.

 
'Leave your country
and your people,' God said, 'and go
to the land I will show you.'


Why do you look at the speck of sawdust
in your brother’s eye and pay no attention
to the plank in your own eye?


So my brothers you also died
to the law through the body of Christ,
that you might belong to another,
to him who raised from the dead,
in order that we might
bear fruit
to God.

The wife's body does not belong to her alone
but also to her husband. In the same way,
the husband's body does not belong to him
alone but also to his wife.


 And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.


“Do not give dogs what is sacred;
do not throw your pearls to pigs. 
If you do, they may trample them under their feet,
and then turn and tear you to pieces.


Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.

But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord ,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me.
