What Would Jesus Pray for the World...  

World Leaders

I urge then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession
and thanksgiving be made for all those in authority, that we
may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
1 Timothy 2:1,2

God, guide our leaders in wisdom and compassion. We pray for all the leaders of all governments throughout the world. May they govern in mercy and truth.

Bless those who honor and love You, Lord. Give mercy to those who oppose You. In Your sovereign way Lord, watch and care over their people. May those who rule against the Gospel of Christ be brought to confusion and made ineffective. For leaders who are in spiritual darkness, may they receive Your truth.

May they desire understanding, find it in Your Word and embrace it well!
Have leaders living in war-torn nations grow weary of bloodshed and initiate peace and forgiveness. May corrupt leaders recognize their evil ways, repent and lead others to God. Dave Davidson
